The re-release of Bambi in the 1960s may have sparked the environmental movement, but I think this scene from 1956's Giant is what enticed Americans to embrace vegetarianism. Also, I think it's hilarious.
Tyler: A friend of mine has a position open at her company and I immediately thought of you for it since you've been looking to advance your career (God, this sounds just like email spam, doesn't it?). If you're willing to leave the higher education industry (wasn't sure if you were), shoot me an email. It's a pretty well-paid job and if you're really miserable now, it could be a step in the right direction.

That's how I cry when I think about you going to McDonalds every day for lunch. In the middle of my office. With my warbonnet on.
p.s. I lost the google chat function somewhere on my computer. I'm working on it.
Awesome.
Did you get the Bambi/ environmentalism movement comment from "Last Days of Disco"? If so, you are totally my new best friend.
PS - why is it that nobody puts those little decorative paper things on the turkey legs anymore?

Cherry,
I LOVE THE LAST DAYS OF DISCO. I wish it would come out on DVD already!
Also, I fully agree that The Lady and the Tramp ruined the women of our generations.
