I don't understand anything anymore.
Will someone please explain to me the rationale behind a staffing agency calling me and telling me that - congratulations! - I did very well on all of those office skills tests (95th percentile on the proofreading! huzzah!), and then thirty seconds later offering me a management trainee position at an Enterprise Rent-a-Car? Does this make sense?

In one particularly desperate moment of unemployment, I interviewed for a management trainee position at Enterprise.
Interestingly, I was not selected for hire.
Go me.
Christ, I hated being at the mercy of an employment agency. They kept sending me to telemarketing jobs. Dark, dark days.
Actually, I know a few people who went through the Enterprise program and are now managers and making BANK.
